Mensa was founded in England in 1946, and we celebrated the 75th anniversary of the organisation in 2021
One of the founders was an Australian, Roland Berrill, and the other an Englishman Lancelot Ware.
A chance meeting of these 2 men on a train lead to the creation of what is now the largest and most well know High IQ society, Mensa, with over 140,000 members in over 60 countries.
There were numerous celebrations of this anniversary all over the world, with the largest one, a "World Gathering", in Houston.
